Am I Ready?


If you're feeling like something drastic needs to change in your life, you may be ready.

And it's helped. You've gained a lot of insight about your struggles and you can point out other people's faults and hangups. But nothing's shifted for you in a lasting way.

And maybe you're feeling hopeless. Hopelessness is often a good sign of readiness. It means your habitual ways of doing things are beginning to soften, preparing you to take a step into the unknown.

Deep down you know you can't keep living the way you're living.

And you're right, to do so would be to continue without meaning.

This may sound harsh, but the most common thing I hear from the people I work with is—"I just can't keep going on like this. What's the point?"
